I know it’s a little late for the event since it ends on the December 22, but I highly recommend a tour. The history alone is worth the trip to the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. But for those of you who don’t know, the City of Beverly Hills sponsors a garden and design showcase tour every year. For a fee of $35.00 you can tour the grounds and house and get a bit of local history at the same time. It’s all rather interesting for you history buffs as well as seeing the works of some extremely talented interior designers. And for you movie buffs, you just might recognize where your favorite movie was filmed, too.

In 2007, I had the distinct pleasure of designing one of the bedrooms. The whole process was a great experience, which allowed me to meet some pretty incredible people. On average the tour brings in about 100,000 guests. Below are two links with the history and the tour information for those of you who are interested.

Happy Holidays!!!

I found this great article today from BHG. It offers some great design tips for Christmas. They’re fairly simple and inexpensive. My favorite tip is how to add some spice to your garland. It will liven up your mantle, table scape, frame a mirror and more. Enjoy!!!
